Its not possible to note and add thousands of followers manually, we have to depend on Twitter to rectify the glitches in the system

I just about tore my hair out when this happened. Still not sure what the exact reason was. But I think from now on, I’ll note down somewhere the IDs of all followers so I can manually add them in case of something like this again.

Great post. Are there specific strategies businesses should have in place for such situations? We probably can expect more meltdowns for Twitter and other social media. And clearly, there doesn’t seem to be a way to back up your followers in as much as we don’t own the site.
