My issue with Twitter is the small amount of characters that you can use. While I understand it’s a microblogging tool, I have to really pick and choose my info to best communicate it. That’s a skill that i ahven’t really mastered all that well yet.

I personally can see the only reason to join would be for news info but as far as what my friend is doing randomly through out the day is stupid. I’d rather have a actual conversation with a person than a Twitter update. Thanks everyone for your in put!

okay i have verison, not unlimited i want to get twitter on my phone btu my dad doesnt know i have twitter i want to be able to twitter form my phone but if i go over my plan or it cost extra or anythign my dad will find out if i am safe about it, does it tell the phone company bill or anything that you joined twitter? i dont want my dad finding out. I've got Facebook, Myspace, Linked In, and Twitter. I signed up for Bebo last year without even remembering that I'd done so, and I can't find any contacts on that one.
