I do agree with your entire list, but what about Akismet? With out Akismet, or another equally as good comment and track back spam plugin, most regular bloggers would end up going insane dealing with the daily onslaught of spam! For the record, I as well highly recommend Ninja Affiliate, Thesis & Aweber.

Thanks Lee for adding Akismet to the list, its a highly recommended plugin for your blog. It has amazing capabilities to combat spam, you are right I would have gone insane dealing with the daily spam comments 🙂

There really isn’t any ‘special’ blogging site that is just going to provide readers or subscribers. I’ve had wonderful luck with both blogger and wordpress. But I have also taken the time to promote every single blog I have created.

I am going to go a little bit different with my comment, I agree that above are all the tools that you need to get the job done, but one thing that will also help is having the right mindset and attitudes, if you have those two working for you, then you are well on your way to the path of success 😀

Till then,

I have not personally used Thesis although I think I might have to get it if it offers that much customizability to it.
