We recently ran a contest on the blog , where we gave away 5 premium Buffer App accounts worth $90 each.

Buffer App makes your life easier with a smarter way to schedule tweets. It works out all your tweets at one point in time during the day. You then fill up your Buffer with your tweets and Buffer schedules them for you. Simply keep that Buffer topped up and you will then be tweeting consistently all day round, all week long.

The contest was simple all you had to do was tweet the post. The winners were selected using http://random.org

I Thank You All

Design Crowd ran a contest last month where bloggers had to write a post about Design Crowd and about their contest, the blog that got the highest number of tweets would be the winner.

I am happy that this blog got over 200 tweets for the contest post ( 205 to be exact )and was declared the winner. I want to thank all of you for tweeting the post and helping us win $1000.

The prize money will be used to enhance the user experience on the blog, we recently did a major face lift for this blog where we fully customized the blog on the Thesis Theme. In the coming months we plan to move this blog to a VPS hosting with Hostgator which will cost us between $39.95 and $69.95 a month. This is a significant investment but I believe it will only enhance the user experience with faster download speed

I will soon hold a contest to give back the remaining part of the prize money.

Thank you once again for making this blog a regular part of your daily life.

My Blogger friend and fellow Torontonian Evancarmichael has partnered with Top notch bloggers Seth Godin, Guy Kawasaki, Darren Rowse, Chris Brogan, Tom Peters and others to create a line of famous Entrepreneur trading cards called “Entrepreneur Heroes”.

Each blogger was asked to pick their favorite Entrepreneur and give reasons why. A trading card was then created for each Entrepreneur, it has an artistic picture on the front and an inspirational quote on the back, it also includes a true story / a fun filled fact about the entrepreneur and other personal information.

The Entrepreneur Heroes trading cards give you a chance to collect your favorite business founders from Steve Jobs to Walt Disney to Richard Branson.
