<p>Thinking of improving the security of your social network and, above all, speed up the password recovery process without compromising the user data <a href="http://www.webtrafficroi.com/facebook-timeline-profile-how-to-enable-it-now/">Facebook</a> will soon trigger a new recovery system in which our identity is verified by our own friends. This feature has already been rolled out in some markets. </p>
<p>Yes, for there is no better endorsement Facebook than our own friends and, on that principle, trigger a method called <strong>&#8220;trusted friends&#8221;</strong> with which we can recover our password in case we cannot access our account or our email (that is, if we have a case of identity theft). With this feature, users can appoint 3 to 5 trusted friends who will be in charge of guarding the &#8220;keys&#8221; that access your account.</p>
<p>The idea is Facebook sends a key to each of these trusted contacts who will be responsible to be passed on the code to you. Once you <a href="http://www.webtrafficroi.com/code-bytes-conversations-with-internet-entrepreneurs/">retrieve the correct code</a> or key from your friends you can access your facebook account. You can change your password once you access your account with the new &#8216;keys&#8221;. </p>
<p>This is an additional layer of security that was announced for <a href="https://www.facebook.com/notes/facebook-security/national-cybersecurity-awareness-month-updates/10150335022240766">National Cybersecurity Awareness Month. </a><br />

How to set up &#8220;trusted friends&#8221; ?</strong></p>
<p>- Go to your security settings page ( Account > Account Setting > Security )<br />
- Click on <strong>trusted friends sections</strong><br />
- Click choose trusted friends<br />
- Scroll through your friends or search for specific friends<br />
- Select 5 friends and confirm your choice</p>
<p>You can edit your friends from the security page anytime</p>

<p>The SVP of Google Social <a href="https://plus.google.com/107117483540235115863#107117483540235115863/posts">Vic Gundotra</a> has announced that Google+ will support Google Apps accounts within the next few days. This was revealed during a Q&amp;A session at the <a href="http://www.web2summit.com/web2011">Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco.</a> He clarified that it will be coming within the next few days.</p>
<p>The company did not launch <a href="http://www.webtrafficroi.com/8-great-financial-apps-for-small-businesses/">Google Apps</a> support during the original release of Google+ as they thought they would get more time and wanted to hit a scale before going ahead with it. But the success of <a href="http://www.webtrafficroi.com/3-killer-google-plus-features-to-grow-your-business/">Google Plus</a> has forced them to add new features and updates. The success was unexpected.</p>
<p><a href="http://media.cbronline.com/news/google-has-40-million-users-claims-larry-page-171011/">Google plus has about 40 million users </a> and the company has had to rethink its product update strategy. Their first focus has been on scaling the social network so that its works smoothly for all users. Google also announced that Google plus will soon support pseudonyms but this will take some time. </p>
<p>Google plus initially only allowed users to sign up using their real names, but it will add support for pseudonyms, nicknames and other forms of identity in the near future.</p>
<p>Gundotra mentioned that about 3.4 billion photos have been uploaded on <a href="http://www.webtrafficroi.com/google-plus-one-and-the-future-of-your-online-business/">Google plus</a> in the last three months and they were amazed at the number.</p>
<p>Developers have been waiting for the launch of Google plus API’s but the company has been a bit cautious in releasing them. He mentioned that they want them to be fully tested and ready before handing them out.</p>

<p>A few simple steps mentioned below will help you enable the Facebook Timeline feature for your profile. It&#8217;s one of the new features and it&#8217;s awesome <img src='http://www.webtrafficroi.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>Follow the instructions carefully to enable it for your profile.</p>
<p><strong>Step 1:</strong><br />
- Go to the Facebook developer page and make sure you are logged into your facebook account. <a href="https://developers.facebook.com/apps">Follow this link</a> to get started.</p>
<p><strong>Step 2:</strong><br />
- Click Allow when you reach the below screen<br />

Step 4:</strong><br />
Name the App Display name and the App namespace, it does not matter what name you give, its just for you to get authenticated with the developer platform. Click on the I agree box and Continue.<br />

<p><strong>Step 5:</strong><br />
Once you&#8217;ve click on Continue you&#8217;ll reach the below screen &#8211; Click on Open Graph on the left hand side.<br />

Step 6:</strong><br />
- You&#8217;ll see the next screen titled &#8211; Get Started with Open Graph, fill in anything under action and object and click on Get Started<br />

- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click save changes and next<br />

- Wait for a few seconds when you come to the below screen and then go to your Facebook homepage, where you&#8217;ll be invited to enable the timeline.<br />
