How do I find a good Affiliate program ?

Which are the top affiliate programs ? How do I choose the best one to promote ?

It’s a question that I get asked a lot lately.  How do I find a good affiliate program to promote outside of Clickbank or Commission Junction.

My plan was to turn this into a short report and sell it but I’ve decided to just give you the information for free today – It’s important. I had the same kind of questions as a struggling affiliate marketer a few months back.

So, how do I find a good affiliate program to promote?

For me, they have to fulfill the following;

- Have products in high potential niches ( Niche =  High in demand , Low in competition , you can check your niche by using the Free Trial from Wordtracker.

- Pay me on time (every month).

-  Have enough marketing materials for me to use (different landing pages, banners, links, emails samples, PPC campaign samples, etc.)

-  The products MUST be top notch (very low refunds).

-  Offer enough commission to make it worthwhile.

There are a few more, but these four are the main ones that I am interested in.  I want to make sure that I am going to get paid each and every month without having to chase it.

I also look at the type of products and offers that the affiliate program has to offer , I should be convinced about the conversions of the landing page or creative banner or promotional elements. Its important that as an affiliate marketer to know how your site audience will respond to the products you market.

I recently started recommending More Niche. It takes all the above factors into consideration. They’ll even help you get started by giving you a great bonus just for signing up. Then they go MUCH further than that, they show you how to market the products with one of the BIGGEST collections of tutorials, guides, books etc. that I have ever seen in one place.

Take a look at the affiliate products for yourself and let me know what you think. They have great landing pages that have higher conversion rates backed by great marketing & promotional material, which means better ROI ( Return On Investment ). More Niche ranks high on my list of  Top Affiliate online programs.

I signed up with more niche a while back, and yes they have a lot of info, depending on your niche, they have some good stuff. I haven’t really promoted much from the network….but I agree with your rules on what makes a good affiliate program.

I promoted Clickbank products, but with not much success. Anyways, I find it really difficult nowadays to promote clickbank except PPC.

I’ve tried affiliates programs, but it seems that I’m not meant for it. And does some legit affiliate programs really asks for some membership fee?

Clickbank is kinda weird animal. Trying to promote Clickbank products is not an easy task. Especially now when our customers became smarter than ever.

To be honest, I’ve been much more successful with lower profile, less known affiliate programs versus the larger, more well known ones. Some of my best producers are sites that run their own affiliate programs in house as they tend to have fewer affiliates (less competition) and generally pay on time. I use a affiliate redirect system, so in the even that a program stops paying me, I can just make a few changes and migrate to a new program offering the same or similar items.

Oops, I guess you took me as a spammer. Sorry for so many links. I might consider turning them into just words.

I would like to steer you towards Commission Junction as they have a lot of different affiliate type programs available from all over. Another one to consider in the banking field is the one owned by eBay and can be found at PayPal and look at what they have to offer. I personally use and highly recommend them both. Hope this helps
