Although site speed is a so-called factor in 2010, internet speeds are getting faster and faster, so if it is an issue now, in a year or so it wont be anymore. As long as your site is not full of flash and is xhtml you are all good to rank well.

I also use the Thesis theme and wordpress super cache plug-in, and if this is true that in 2010 web pages will get a boost for fast loading time, then I should be in good shape, the new page rank update just happened so maybe this change was just implemented also.
