Google had its PR update and most of my blogger friends were happy to get a PR increase for their blogs.
BlogSmartly.com got a PR of 1 from zero, Ganesh of Blog Smartly has done a Blog Smartly Fair Value Analysis of 19 great blogs. Its an interesting analysis based on fair value.
Creadiv.com moved from PR zero to PR 3, congrats to Adam on this great feat. Adam has been slogging and working hard on his blog and its getting him well deserved rewards and accolades. The Truth About Cats and Blogs is an interesting post on hard work and its rewards in blogging.
Tushar Dhoot of TusharDhoot.com has a well written post on 5 Tips to increase your commenting power, Tushar this week also reviewed WebTrafficROI on his blog.
Simon from otooo.com has a well written post on The 5 keys to a successful blog. If you have a blog you need to read his post.

No one know when Google updates next , generally they do it once in 6 – 8 months but the recent update was within 3 months.

Thanks for the post on google updating it’s PR. I actually wasn’t sure when they updated PR. I’m looking to get PR for my new forum and this is useful information to know. How often does Google update PR? I’ve always been a bit foggy on that.
I honestly didn’t expect the PR update until late October, and I realized it only when I was visiting one of my sites and noticed that it had moved from PR4 to PR3! It’s quite disappointing but many of my sites increased in PR so that pretty much makes up for it. One of my sites actually jumped from PR N/A to PR3 so that’s definitely something to be happy about!

Hi Jeremiah : Google updates every 6 – 8 months , but the last two updates have been within a span of three months.
Hi Sabz : Dont worry, sometimes Google does devalue your site ratings depening on the quality of inbound links. It’s essential to have good quality inbound links for high PR. Congrats on getting high PR for your other sites.

I’d check some again. A LOT of blogs went up and down for days (like Google having a stroke) and many of those bottomed out down, not up.
