Web Hosting Reviews

When I was planning to launch my first internet site I had very little knowledge about web hosting, I was unsure which web hosting service provider was best suited for my website. Since most of us start a website on a shoe string budget I wanted to ensure that I was not spending unnecessary dollars on web host fees and services.

Now, if you don’t have a technical background web host becomes a painful task and I don’t have a technical background. I had to read up about the different web hosting companies and their service offerings to decide which web host provider was the ideal fit for my internet site.

The net has tons of information on web hosting and services provided by web hosts, you can easily get lost in a sea of information on web hosting and still be as confused as I was about it.

If you are looking for a reliable web hosting service I recommend you to check out testimonials from users who have used web hosting services. To make things easy WebHostingGeeks.com have a section dedicated to customer web hosting reviews. On this section you’ll get customer reviews and experiences about web hosting companies.

WebHostingGeeks.com also have reviews on top web hosting companies based on your need, budget and business. For examples Web Hosting Geeks have the top hosting reviews and services for blogs, forums, windows hosting, PHP hosting or dedicated hosting.

So whether you are looking to host just one of your website or a number of websites read the best web hosting fit for your site. Make your decisions easier by choosing a dedicated server or a shared hosting service.

And if you are an environmentalist like me who is concerned about planet Earth, you ll be glad to know that Web Hosting Geeks have a category for green hosting. The green hosting category has a list of web hosting providers that use recycle material to power their servers and information centers.

Choose the best web hosting for your internet sites with Web Hosting Geeks .

I agree with you. Unfortunately, each Web hosting provider has its own way of presenting their plans to potential customers. Some showcase the server resources that you are allowed to use; others present a list of features and tools that you would have access to. Nice post.

Reading customer reviews can help us infer their respective experience with the web hosting service provider which certainly can help us choose one for our website.

CashBack June 8, 2009 at 1:41 pm

Before getting a new web host, it is very important to check 3rd party reviews. Just avoid the ones that are only pushing the ones with affiliate programs. If you see IXWebHosting anywhere on their top hosts list, go to a different site. That is the host I have used for a while and they are horrible. Despite this they are often top 10 because they pay the sites for referrals.

Seems that there are more and more web hosting companies in the market. I’m planning to switch my current host to US host, currently I have 2 choices in my mind, JustHost & Ipower. ZK do you have any idea about this 2 web hosting companies? I just concern about the uptime and downtime, I want the loading time to be faster. :)

Lee

Hi Lee,

I have nt heard of any of the above mentioned web host. I suggest you do your research before you finalise on one. Every web host promises of 99 % uptime, not all of them can deliver on this promise.

I rely a lot on customer reviews when I buy web hosting. When your hosting is down, you are not making money.

I have used top web hosting services like
. Hostgator
.ixwebhosting
.fast next
.hostmonster

And i really feel Hostgator and Host monter and very nice and my first pref is hostgator even though it is bit higher than other i feel its reliable to spend that much. Good track record.

tampa web hosting June 18, 2009 at 5:21 am

Basically, shared hosting is good enough, for 90% of websites. Dedicated servers are a lot better, but they are at least 10 times more expensive. Good idea. Web hosting reviews really help you save time and make the best choice when it comes to web hosting.

You know how many different web hosting services are available online, so I understand you may be confused when you search for the best.

You see, choosing “the best” hosting really depends on what features you want to have and what price range you are looking for.

There 3 key factors you want to know when choosing your hosting to save time and money.

gilbert June 19, 2009 at 11:56 am

I would to share some additional tips ZK. Most web host companies offer their clients statistics packages of varying stripes. Some of these are acceptable, while others are pretty worthless, depending on your needs. Uptime is important. Many companies will say they’re up 99.9% of the time when the reality may be quite different. If it is a few points less than this, your site may be down more than you expect or know. Look into this as much as possible and again, check with as many references as possible to find out their experiences.
If you plan to take any kind of orders over the Internet, find out if your prospective Web Host offers SSL (Secure Socket Layer). If the server isn’t secure, most people will not buy anything from you.

Choosing a god Web Hosting service provider is very important for any website owner as Uptime and Downtime is one of the key issues that many website owners face.

Bill Thomson July 3, 2009 at 12:31 pm

Every advise, tip and article you get from web hosting review websites will give you enough information in order to indentify a crappy cost. Best web hosting providers aren’t always getting enough positive feedback, but on the contrary, bad web hosts are described with great detail. If you do not spend some time in research it is 100% sure that you will regret it later and not always your website will operate with low uptime but you will lose money and precious time. Trust your friends, experienced webmasters with successful websites, visit webmasters communities and ask on the forum of your script platform that you will mainly use on your new website. Web hosting isn’t an easy matter, but if you find a reliable and affordable web hosting provider you will stop experimenting with other, low quality companies. All of my experiences about web hosting services are posted to my personal website. If you need more information about choosing the best web hosting provider don’t hesitate to visit my web effort.

I prefer HostNexus because they have a Plesk control panel which is industry standard for experienced web people. HostGator uses cPanel which is best for anyone new to web hosting. And if you need real hand holding you can use Godaddy which has a proprietary control panel. Regards,

Owning a domain needs a reliable hosting. Hosting is very important since without it, you’re site won’t work based on your visitor’s expectation. It can also be a downfall of everything too.

The good thing about now is that almost all hosting companies offer affordable hosting plan. The only issue right now is their tech support. Most are accommodating while some can really pissed you off.
