One of my readers sent me a link with a URL shortening service called LinkShiftr, I found it very sleek and have started using it to promote my Facebook Fan page.

You can also use aafter.com to shorten long URLs. It’s free and fail-safe.
Finally something different. There were so many link shorteners around offering the same thing. It can also be a good idea to let users password protect their links.

I like the way it works!
I am surprised that more url shortening services do not offer conversion tracking or other stats. It is quite important information. I just can’t justify paying $9.99/month since I don’t use twitter or have other uses for this software. I will keep this in mind if that changes.
Which is a good url shortener? Because I stumbled upon in the internet and I’ve encountered also another url shortener.
