We are always looking for ways to improve our marketing campaigns on social media websites. There is one important factor that, we, at times, neglect and this is why we don’t get the results we look for. This important factor is known as “Logo Design”.

Logo should be relevant to your industry. You cannot just copy the idea from any website and try to get it work for yours.
How about changing logos? although big companies have been changing their logos in the past.

Mostly it works, but the new design has to be better than the last one. Having a good logo design is very important for branding and to make you look professional. People will remember your site from your logo.
I do agree, I think a lot of the problematic accounts I see on Twitter or on FB include people that start up something only to abondon it within two or three months because they expected instant ROI. Twitter didn’t just ‘become’ the next big thing, it was a really slow build up. Same with all the social media sites and their fan bases…they came because of the sense of online community, not because they were interested in ad space.
I don’t know why people thinks that via social media they will get sale leads and they tries to pitch directly by any live chat or messaging feature, Instead of that you should communicate personally with your targeted niches, offer them a quality content and any other help they requires like some one is asking any question in his status bar and looking to get responses, just respond to him in a manner. Following and Interacting with people results people will follow you back. Jumping back to the topic that when you start a business and got an attractive logo, don’t expect things($) instantly, just use the social media sites to expand the list of your targeted people and let them know by using you Logo and color themes that you are professionals, and whenever they need a services related to you they will definitely come to you.
Good points, with so many competing sites it’s an advantage to be instantly recognisable… it doesn’t have to cost the earth either, there are quite a few free logo makers out there …

I think logo is very important for marking. Logo is the only thing which let you to represent you business stats. Well designed logo always represent well managed businesses.
