When you log into your wordpress admin panel, you’ll see a message sitting on top of the panel that says “WordPress 3.0 is available! Please update now.”
WordPress 3.0 is the much awaited wordpress version, Matt and team has been working tirelessly to release this. Its one of the major wordpress updates. When you update it you’ll see your default theme changed. I like the inclusion of the short-link tab for all blog posts, the short-link tab will be useful to post links to facebook fan pages and other social networks.

Have you upgraded ZK? One of my blog buddy upgraded to 3.0 and he faced problem with the Thesis custom file editor under Wordpress cpanel, do you face the same problem?
I’ve yet to upgrade, going to read more review 1st.

I’ve had no issues with the upgrade, thesis works like a charm…I’ve not heard of any theme issues with the new upgrade. Thesis powers Top blogs, no blogs would have been online if there was an issue

I updated to wordpress 3.0 on my personal blog, and had problems at all, in fact I feel its running quite smooth, and faster than 2.9.2! At least thats my experience…
I was really happy to see Wordpress 3.0 come out, in fact I always get really happy whenever there is a new update on wordpress, these guys are definitely awesome, to always keep updating it, and just when you think you’ve seen the best of wordpress, wordpress continues to raise the bar even higher!

Many changes have been made for new wordpress 3. I really liked the update function of new wordpress 3. In update sidebar menu of wordpress admin back-end, you can update wordpress core, themes and all plugins together with one click. This is really an awesome new function from wordpress. WordPress 3 is more secure and some new security functions has been added to WordPress 3. WordPress and WordPress MU have merged in this new version. Also do you ever notice that a short link service is available by default in this new version? If any of you didn’t update your wordpress blog, update it now, make it more secure and enjoy the awesome functionality of it.
